Flamingo Die for Decorative Industry

In addition to manufacturing for heavy industry and demanding applications, here at B&G Tool we are always ready to undertake customer requests for unique custom projects.

In the project outlined here, a local artist approached us to develop a die for the production of pink flamingo lawn ornaments. We collaborated with the customer and refined his design, producing a 2D CAD drawing for approval. S7 tool steel was selected for construction. Our wire cutting, CNC milling, and stamping equipment were in place for production, achieving tolerances of ± 0.001 inch during manufacturing.

A singular die was created for this project, with final measurements of 12 in x 12 in. This die had a ground finish, and was inspected for accuracy with visual methods.
